In February, L&S USA hosted an event at the NKBA booth at KBIS in Orlando, the leading trade show for the kitchen & bath design and interior architecture industry in North America.
This was an important opportunity to present our vision of integrated lighting to an international audience of designers, architects, and industry professionals.
During the panel, Emanuela Barzaghi - CEO L&S USA - presented our approach as a unique solution provider, with a focus on custom projects and the integration of light and space, delving into the strategic role of lighting in the quality and enjoyment of interior environments.
Light as a design language
Central to our presence at KBIS is the philosophy that guides every L&S project: light is not a separate element from architecture, but an essential component of it. Kitchens, bathrooms, living rooms-each environment has specific needs, and our approach is to develop lighting solutions that integrate naturally into the environment, enhancing its spaces and materials.
Our design solutions
Our structures are invisible solutions at the service of light and architecture, designed to integrate into high-quality residential environments. During her presentation, Emanuela focused on three key products that align perfectly with the architectural integration of residential spaces:
Hi Line. Wall system with integrated lighting, winner of the 2025 iF Design Award. It combines lighting, wired shelves, dedicated accessories, and modular panels in elegant, reconfigurable compositions. The integrated aluminum profiles ensure visual continuity, a minimalist aesthetic, and maximum flexibility—shelves remain illuminated, no matter where they are positioned.
Sign. A light strip for residential and commercial spaces. In addition to creating dramatic lighting effects, Sign elegantly enhances materials and surfaces. The collection includes curved modules, smoked glass, and two color finishes, light and dark. IP44 certified for use in kitchens and bathrooms.
We would like to thank everyone who attended the event and engaged with us over a glass of wine or prosecco following the presentation. The event was a great success showing high interest from KBIS visitors to learn about integrated lighting solutions.
The dialogue with architects, designers and practitioners is a key stimulus to continue to develop lighting solutions capable of meeting the needs of contemporary projects.
