L&S @World Elevator & Escalator Expo 2026

At WEE 2026 in Guangzhou, L&S China Team brought our Light&Space thinking into a new dimension: moving environments. From May 20 to May 23, our L&S China team welcomed visitors, partners and OEMs to share a vision that goes beyond illumination — exploring how light can shape visibility, spatial perception, comfort and the overall quality of the journey inside elevators and escalators.

Because in a cabin or along an escalator, light is never just a technical requirement. It is the element that defines how space is experienced.

La settimana si è aperta con la visita degli studenti ISIA presso l’Headquarters di L&S a Brugnera, un momento pensato per introdurre i partecipanti alla nostra realtà aziendale, ai processi produttivi e alle nostre ultime novità di prodotto.
A partire da questo confronto diretto con l’azienda, gli studenti hanno potuto sviluppare nei giorni successivi un workshop progettuale basato su un brief tecnico e strategico fornito dal team L&S.

A complete lighting offer for elevators and escalators

Our presentation was structured around two key application scenarios — elevator cabin lighting and escalator lighting — supported by a full portfolio of solutions designed to integrate seamlessly with cabin materials such as stainless steel, glass and wood:

• Customizable surface panel lighting — fully personalized in size, color temperature, color and patterns, for uniform and comfortable illumination in residential, office and commercial cabs.
• Spotlights, downlights and integrated solutions — precision optics for accent and functional lighting, designed to highlight materials and finishes with clean, architectural integration.
• LED strips and thin panel lighting — flexible and ultra-slim profiles that create rhythm along handrails, cabin perimeters and architectural accents, even where space is at a premium.

The highlight: dynamic lighting in the elevator cabin

One of the most distinctive elements of our presentation was the introduction of dynamic lighting in the elevator cabin — a new evolution built on our mature tunable white panel lighting solution.
Dynamic lighting allows the cabin atmosphere to change throughout the journey, adapting color temperature and light behavior to create a more engaging, more comfortable, more human experience.
