At Design Shanghai 2026, the L&S China team—together with Visplay and Flux—presented Flow as an evolving spatial journey.

The project was conceived as a walk-through experience, translating the Light&Space concept into an integrated design approach for commercial environments. The concept is built around two key principles: how spatial order is created and how design takes shape within it. These two ideas define the overall layout of the booth, structured into two main zones.

Visibly Invisible Passage: order, rhythm and layering

The first area explores spatial organization: a corridor transformed into an open pathway where modular systems, light and structure work together to define rhythm, layering and visual continuity. Within this space, several systems are integrated:

Designer’s Lab: space as co-creation

The second area, Designer’s Lab, is conceived as an open co-design environment, where visitors can directly experience the relationship between light, systems, materials and display logic.

An integrated approach for contemporary retail

The two areas together create a complete spatial narrative—from the definition of space to the design of light. An approach that goes beyond individual product presentation, demonstrating how systems, light and structure can operate as one integrated solution, shaping clearer, more modular and more sustainable spaces.
